Literacy Green Bay

For fall adult tutor training workshops, there will be a 45 minute informational session on Wednesday, September 21 at 9:00am or 6:00pm.  The workshop schedule is as follows:

Session 1: Monday, September 26 at 9:00am – 12:00pm or 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Session 2: Wednesday, September 28 at 9:00am – 12:00pm or 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Session 3: Monday, October 3 at 9:00am – 12:00pm or 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Session 4: Saturday, October 15 at 9:00am – 12:00pm ONLY

Literacy Council of Sheboygan County

We train volunteers to tutor adults who want to improve their reading or writing—or to learn English.  Become a volunteer tutor! 

FREE 2-NIGHT TUTOR TRAINING on September 7, 2016, 5:00–9:00 P.M. and September 12, 2016, 6:00–9:00 P.M. 

All you need is a high school diploma and the desire to make a difference. Call the Literacy Council at 920-892-6706 or email cdussault@frc-sc.org. 
 

Southeast Tutor Trainings

Racine Literacy Council

Racine literacy will be having tutor trainings at the end of each month from February-November.  Go to their website at http://racineliteracy.com/becoming-a-tutor to find out more information about upcoming trainings.

International Learning Center

International Learning Center will be having tutor trainings the first Monday of every month from 5:30-7:00 at 639 N. 25th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53233.

Kenosha Literacy Council

Information meetings will be held on Saturday, September 17, October 15th, and November 12th at 9:30am at the Literacy Council (2419 63rd Street, Kenosha, WI). More information can be found at kenoshalit.org.

Jefferson County Literacy Council

JCLC will next offer opportunities to become a volunteer tutor in September of 2016. To become a volunteer, you must attend one orientation session and one training session. The dates for the fall orientation and training sessions are listed below.
