"I am an advocate for literacy because of the impact it makes on individuals’ lives and the wellbeing of our society. Education comes in many forms and should be available to people of all ages, nationalities, socio-economic levels, and color. We often take that for granted in the United States, but it serves us well to recall that not all people in all parts of the world are so fortunate to have ready access to education. I am proud to work for an organization that is advancing literacy in our state and beyond!"
