9:45-10:45 Building Recognition-Sharing Your Agency’s Story - Liz Fitzpatrick, Data and Communications Manager
To share your agency story, you must first ask yourself some questions.
- What is unique about your agency (your niche)?
- What audience are you trying to reach (for example, students, volunteers, funders, partners)?
- Where do they get their information?

We will discuss best practices for reaching your target audience and some tools that can help you share your agency story effectively and efficiently.

11:00- 12:00 Reading Strategies for Beginning and Emerging Reader - Anna Bierer, NE/NW Regional Literacy Consultant
Anna will share reading strategies for beginning and emerging readers. The strategies are adapted for virtual tutoring and small group instruction. Bring paper, a pencil, and other materials you usually bring to a tutoring session.

1:00-2:00 Making Connections with your local Workforce Resources - Patti Huse- Workforce Readiness Specialist

2:00-3:00 How to Engage Learners through Book Clubs - Cheryl Hernandez, Executive Director, and Cassie Christianson, Program Coordinator, Kenosha Literacy Council
Cheryl and Cassie will share their success in engaging tutors and learners through book clubs.
