Steve is an Commercial/Farm Ranch Operations Manager at American Family Insurance. He currently leads the planning, business performance, and business system area in the Commercial Farm/Ranch division and has experience across all lines of insurance. He has served on several non-profit boards as both a board member and officer. Steve had been a supporter of literacy in the Madison area for the last 15 years and is excited to join Wisconsin Literacy. His passion for literacy stems from the desire of the learners to better themselves, their family, and their community.

Steve is a lifelong Madison area resident and a UW – Madison Alumni. As such, he is an avid Badger, Packer & Brewer fan. He lives in De Forest with his wife Sheri and their yellow lab Buddy. They enjoy spending time with their 5 grown children and 3 grandsons. When not at work you’ll find Steve out for a run, a bike ride, or at home playing guitar
