Dr. Colleen Larsen
Dr. Colleen Larsen is the TANF Training and Communications Manager for the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families, where she oversees training strategy and development for W-2 Contract Agencies across the state. She holds a PhD from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where her research focused on the experiences of refugees in technical and community colleges. With more than 15 years of experience in student support, instruction, and community-based education, Dr. Larsen has extensive expertise in global education, English language instruction, and community organizing. She is committed to elevating student and community voices and building cross-sector partnerships that support immigrants and other historically underserved populations in meeting their needs and accomplishing their personal and professional goals.
