Celebration of Literacy Awards
We invite you to nominate outstanding students, tutors, programs, businesses, and advocates to be honored at Wisconsin Literacy’s Celebration of Literacy.
When: Wednesday, April 29, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Where: Windsor Country Club
Please nominate only those who can attend the award ceremony, send a representative, or provide a video acceptance speech. You may submit multiple nominations by completing a separate nomination form for each nominee.
Each winner receives a plaque and two complimentary tickets to the Celebration.
All nominees will be featured in a slideshow during the awards.
Nominations are due on January 20th.
Award Categories

Recognizes a learner (Adult Basic Education, English Language, Family Literacy, Justice-Involved, HSED/GED student, etc.) who made significant achievements as a result of increased literacy.

Recognizes a tutor and/or literacy advocate who demonstrates a commitment to literacy through tutoring and mentoring his/her learner(s) and/or who has advocated on behalf of adult learners, families, and the programs that serve them.

Recognizes an innovative literacy program that demonstrates “out of the box” thinking and improved literacy outcomes for their learners.

Recognizes a business whose leadership in implementing literacy has greatly improved the lives of their employees OR former/current literacy student whose career improved dramatically through stronger literacy skills.

Recognizes an organization or literacy agency that has shown significant leadership in health literacy.
