A big component to workforce development is the skills for workforce readiness. These employability skills are often taught in the vacuum of workforce development, but they can be integrated into all facets of a program and curricula. In this workshop we will learn about the 9 Employability skills as identified by the American Institute for Research and RTI, and we will discuss how to integrate them in basic skills curricula, workforce curricula, and in counseling frameworks.
