Join us on Facebook Live for a ""Bedtime Story"" challenge on March 2nd, 7-10 PM. Our staff will read you and your family bedtime stories and sing lullabies. Enjoy “First Laugh Welcome, Baby!” at 7:00 pm, “Go, Dog, Go” at 8:00 pm, and “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe” at 9:00 pm.

Parents singing and sharing a book help wire their child's brain for future learning. Your support helps all parents gain this precious skill to share with their children.

In this 90-minute live webinar, you will gain a deeper understanding of core plain language strategies. As a group, we will practice strategies around word choice, sentence structure, grammar tweaks, tone, and organization of content.

You must complete Introduction to Plain Language to register for Plain Language Strategies in Practice.

In this 1-hour interactive Zoom meeting, you will negotiate plain language edits with a small group to improve the readability of sample documents. Wisconsin Literacy staff will facilitate exercises and provide sample documents. Maximum of 5 participants per group.

You must complete Plain Language Strategies in Practice to register for Interactive Small Group Practice.

Learn how specific plain language strategies can help you empower adult learners, motivate volunteers, and engage community members. Through a blend of presentation and practical exercises, you will gain strategies you can use immediately.
