This is an opportunity to expand workplace literacy services for Wisconsin Literacy members involvement in the Wilson Fish TANF Coordination Program.

To participate, programs MUST:
-- be a Wisconsin Literacy member
-- operate in Barron, Brown, Calumet, Dane, Eau Claire, Milwaukee, Outagamie, Sheboygan, or Winnebago Counties
-- serve refugees
-- track NRS outcomes
-- record TANF eligibility for participants

Programs will receive a sub-award to support the Wilson Fish TANF Coordination Program. Activities through the sub-award may include:
-- engage employers to employ refugees
-- teach workplace literacy classes
-- send staff to Transition to Success (TTS) 20-hour training
(W2 agencies already use the TTS tool, increasing awareness or use through literacy agencies will improve co-case-management for better employment outcomes for refugees.)

Through this partnership, refugee participants will:
-- obtain employment
-- retain employment through language and training support
-- increase wages

Contact Anna Bierer if you have any questions.

For programs who use or who would like to start using TABE Online

We will:
- walk through the set-up tutorials
- learn from programs who already use TABE Online
- brainstorm implementation strategies

Wisconsin Literacy has a limited amount of TABE Online administrations for members to use in 2021-2022.

Contact your Wisconsin Literacy regional staff member with any questions.

We will share our experiences from the COABE National Conference (March 22-24) and hear about innovative ideas from across the country.
