Achieve Brown County and WELLER Workshops will share how they have been building a community-wide literacy ecosystem through cross-sector collaboration and human-centered design over the past four years.

We will highlight several connected efforts, including:
• The forWORDS Literacy Initiative and its Collective Impact Approach
• The Launch of Built Literacy Environments across Brown County (bringing literacy into parks, laundromats, grocery stores, and other everyday spaces)
• Kindergarten Readiness work and cross-sector alignment
• How community voice and co-design have shaped these efforts

Attendees from this session will:
• Learn what this work looks like in Brown County
• Gain access to tools and resources to further explore both Collective Impact Approach and Human Centered Design
• Walk away with case examples of how small acts of change might be replicated in other communities across Wisconsin
