This session explores how one literacy organization transformed its intake and program management processes to better support staff, improve data quality, and strengthen program outcomes. Through a real-world case study, attendees will learn how the organization recognized that its existing system no longer met its needs, evaluated alternative solutions, managed implementation, and successfully guided staff through organizational change. One year after implementation, the organization has realized more efficient workflows, improved reporting, and stronger operational decision-making.

Designed for program directors, data managers, and staff responsible for intake, reporting, or program operations in adult and family literacy organizations, this presentation addresses the growing need for technology that supports evolving program requirements. Participants will gain practical strategies for assessing whether their current systems are meeting organizational goals, planning for successful implementation, and increasing staff adoption during times of change. Attendees will leave with a framework for evaluating their own data systems, actionable approaches to managing technology transitions, and ideas they can apply to strengthen data collection, streamline operations, and enhance the impact of their literacy programs.
