Lauren Zepp

Dr. Lauren Zepp (she/her) is an Assistant Professor of Special Education and Coordinator of the graduate certificate in Dyslexia and Language-Based Learning Disabilities at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Her work focuses on preparing pre- and in-service educators to implement science-based reading instruction and to deliver effective reading interventions to learners with disabilities. She previously served as a special educator, reading teacher, and reading specialist for more than 12 years, primarily at the secondary level. Her research explores teacher knowledge for effective reading instruction and supporting teacher candidates with disabilities.
