Lisa Perez is a retired teacher, school librarian, and school administrator with experience in educational technology and professional learning. In her previous role, she led technology-focused professional development for teachers and librarians, supporting the integration of digital tools into classroom instruction. In 2013, she received the International Society for Technology in Education’s Making IT Happen Award and the Illinois Computing Educators Tech Administrator of the Year Award. She is also a former Google Certified Teacher.
In retirement, Lisa continues to be active in education through volunteer work, tutoring adult learners online and in person with the Baraboo Area Literacy Council and Fox Valley Literacy. Outside of teaching, she enjoys herb gardening, reading, and spending time with her twin granddaughters.
