Here are a some of Wisconsin Literacy’s kids favorite resources and activities for learning and play.
With all of the lists of learning sites available, we thought it would be fun (and helpful) to share a list of our absolute favorites.
She likes GoNoodle because “I can get up and move around. We have lots of fun dancing. I can be a princess!”
He likes MathLand “because there is easy math, lots of levels, and because I get to play.”
He likes Prodigy “because you get to figure out math and when it is wrong you can fix it. You get stuff and you fight the villains. It’s super fun.”
He likes BrainPOP Jr. “because it’s fun.”
Write a graphic novel
She likes to write graphic novels so her brother can read them.
He likes Nitro Type “because you can win car races by typing, and the more races you win the cooler cars you can buy. You can also race against your friends.”
(This is only available with a school account. You need a school code.)
He likes Freckle “because it’s in English and Spanish and you get coin rewards to dress your avatar. You do have to have a class code from your teacher.”
He likes Khan Academy “because it has very useful videos and worked out examples.”
