Who is this curriculum for?

English language students at a high-beginning, intermediate, or advanced level. We created this resource with the belief that drivers need a foundational level of literacy to navigate the roads in our communities safely. The content could be relevant for all student levels; however, materials for beginning or emerging literacy students may require modification.

How can I use these materials?

This curriculum includes a student workbook and a teaching plan. Each has 12 modules, which reinforce concepts and terminology presented in the Wisconsin Motorists’ Handbook. Manipulatives are included at the end of the teaching plan. Instructors can copy these manipulatives for their student(s).
