Other Outcomes
Programs that receive federal funding must track the following outcomes (in addition to NRS levels):
- Entered employment
- Retained employment
- Obtained GED or Secondary School Diploma
- Entered postsecondary education or training
- End of Semester Template
- End of Semester Survey with Assessments and Income
Federally-funded programs can report the following Secondary Outcome Measures:
- Achieved work-based project learning goal
- Left public assistance
- Achieved citizenship skills
- Increased involvement in children’s education
- Increased involvement in children’s literacy activities
- Voted or registered to vote
- Increased involvement in community activities
If you do not receive federal funding, you should still track these outcomes. These outcomes will help you:
- Share your story with local funders (and ask for support)
- Develop recruitment materials for learners and volunteers
- Establish community partnerships
- Evaluate your organization’s progress toward your mission and vision
