Meet Mary Jo with One-to-One Adult Literacy Partners
Literacy tutors inspire others to help give the gift of literacy. Mary Jo, an English Language tutor at One-to-One Adult Literacy Partners, had such an impact. A young woman approached Mary Jo and remarked about what a wonderful thing Mary Jo was doing. Mary Jo's example had inspired her to help others learn English. She further stated that Mary Jo "was a role model for us all." Mary Jo said in response, "You never know who pays attention to what we do! We are ambassadors for this Literacy Program all the time!"
