This 90-minute course offers supported exploration of the online resource Northstar so that tutors can feel prepared to introduce the digital literacy curriculum to their students. Tutors will navigate the platform as a student and have time to try out the assessments and online practice. They will also role play teaching with Northstar teacher-led lesson scripts. Tutors should have a Northstar account before registration.
Share your experiences, questions, challenges and successes using Northstar and connect with our community of practice. This is for all programs using or thinking about using Northstar Digital Literacy curriculum.
This networking opportunity is for staff and volunteers who coordinate your tutor training, learner/tutor matching, and any other aspect of your tutor programming.
