Types of Bottles
- Child-Proof Caps: Bottles with child-proof caps make it harder for children to open. If they are too hard for you to open, tell your pharmacist. He or she can help you find an easier cap to open or an easier way to open your medicine.
- Target Bottles: Bottles from Target look different from bottles at other pharmacies. The sides are flatter to make it easier to read the label and the cap is at the bottom.
- Snap or Twist on Caps: Bottles with snap or twist on caps might be easier for you to open.
- The caps on some bottles can be turned upside down and screwed on to make them easier to open (see photo above left.)
- Always be sure to keep medicine out of the reach of children and pets!
